Formerly the Babbitt Laundromat, we purchased the laundry business in 2010 and gave it a catchy new name, a thorough cleaning, and a fresh coat of paint. In addition to upgrading equipment throughout the years, we also removed a wall and created a seating area.

Will more detergent make cleaner clothes? Surprisingly, no, quite the opposite. Seeing those bubbles might give you a warm sudsy feeling, but it could be wreaking havoc on your clothes and our washers. Should you dry on highest heat? Rarely. Unless your load includes heavy, water-holding fabric, high heat usually is not necessary.
